Introduction

VirtualDub, and, in our case, one modified version called VirtualDubMod, it is without doubt the better program to freeware and opensource available on the systems operated to you Windows, for the editing linear video, and not only concurs to compress or to ricomprimere one flow video and audio, but also to apply a great number of filters and effects to capture your video from the sources more disparate. But to illustrate the complete operation of VirtualDub not it is in the attempts of this article, therefore I will limit myself to supply some a short introduction and a fast guide to its I use for conversion and/or jam of video in Mpeg4 format using codec opensource Xvid.
