InfraRecorder is a free CD/DVD burning solution which offers a wide range of powerful features; all through an easy to use application interface and Windows Explorer integration.

Features of InfraRecorder 0.43.1 :
- Create custom data, audio and mixed-mode projects and record them to physical discs as well as disc images.
- Supports recording to dual-layer DVDs.
- Blank (erase) rewritable discs using four different methods.
- Record disc images (ISO and BIN/CUE).
- Fixate discs (write lead-out information to prevent further data from being added to the disc).
- Scan the SCSI/IDE bus for devices and collect information about their capabilities.
- Create disc copies, on the fly and using a temporary disc image.
- Import session data from multi-session discs and add more sessions to them.
- Display disc information.
- Save audio and data tracks to files (.wav, .wma, .ogg, .mp3 and .iso).
Changes in InfraRecorder 0.43.1 :
- Updated the cdrtools to version 2.01.01a26.
- Included a Finnish translation, thanks to Rami Aalto!
- Removed the error message related to ckEffects.exe.
- Improved the erase feature with support for more recorders.
- Fixed a bug causing the size and position of the main window not to be remembered.
- Fixed a bug causing the explorer view to turn white when double-clicking on a folder in the explorer list view (Windows XP only).
- Improved the program log functionality.
- Fixed a bug making it impossible to import sessions from certain disc types.
- Improved the explorer view performance. Expanding anything under "My Computer" in the tree could on some systems result in a long delay because of slow queries to floppy drives.
Important Note :
- The InfraRecorder installation package does not include the plug-in needed to encode MP3-files due to patent license restrictions. This does not affect all countries. Visit the download page to download the binaries.
